Here comes the Judge; Nine greater than millions

Here comes the judges. U.S. Supreme Court Justices are back to work on Monday. Mr. Beelzebub is in all our pictures, click to enlarge.
Well here we go! And as the late great Flip Wilson would say, “Here comes the judge, here comes the judge!” The Supreme Court Judges are headed back to Washington and I believe will be deciding on cases that compare in importance as Roe v. Wade did in its time.
The drama begins on Monday when the high court convenes. These nine justices will be asked to decide for millions of Americans, the constitutionality of the Obama’s health-care act, whether states can enforce strict immigration laws and if the FCC can continue monitoring the airwaves for indecency.
I know it’s the system we have, there has been positive and negative rulings, but I have to ask, should any of the nine judges who believe the Constitution is a living-breathing document have this much power over hundreds of millions Americans? Whether it’s deciding morality, taxation or government mandates, these judges play a huge role in the shaping of the landscape of our country and the shaping of our personal lives. Since liberal-progressive judges believe the U.S. Constitution is a living document, their rulings are influenced by the leanings of society at that time. The lifetime appointment was meant to counter rulings based on whims of society, but the living document theory has fed into judging on a whim, the very thing the Founding Fathers were against.
With nine having so much power over millions, is it too much to ask that they base their rulings on the Constitution and not a made up document that changes like the flow of the wind.

I’m totally with you Sneaky. It’s a scary thought, those few wielding so much power. And we know the courts have messed up big time in the past, so they’re not as perfect as some would like to believe. They are human and fallible.
All we can do is pray for them, and support presidents who would appoint judges whose thinking is more in line with the Founder’s thinking.
Flip Wilson, hahahaha! You took me back with that one Sneaky!
“The devil made me do it!”
Flip was awesome! Watched him every week.
Prayer will help, indeed!
I guess I’ve dated myself with the Flip Wilson comment, those were the days of great comedy.
