Capitalist Pigs? Occupy Wall Streeter’s are not “keeping it real”

While watching the anti-capitalist protesters occupy streets across America (Occupy Wall Street), I’ve noticed capitalism is thriving within the lives of the very people who hate it. For these Wall Street protesters to hate capitalism, the stock market, big business, the rich and well about everything America stands for, they seem to have enjoyed rolling around in this stinky, no-good capitalistic system for a while. It appears the OWS protesters are a touchable example of hypocrisy, screaming “down with capitalism”, all the while participating in capitalism to the fullest. I know buying clothes is something even those who hate capitalism can’t avoid but what bother me are the expensive items I’m seeing. While watching the news, I saw one protester with a Louie Vaton back pack and another protester with a nice leather jacket that had me jealous.
Here are a few things I’m seeing:
- Blogging on laptops
- Taking pictures of one another and the police with their iPhones and cameras
- Many cell phones to ears
- MP3 players with ear phones in ears
- Young urban and skateboard fashion trends (i.e. jackets, back packs, shoes, jeans, etc.). Don’t be fooled by the tacky look, that stuffs expensive.
- Professionally printed signs, banners and t-shirts (probably Unions). But do these protesters know Unions an Big Business are joined at the hip?
- Privileged people; people who can afford to spend every waking hour at protest
Maybe it’s me, but if I don’t like a company, an event or a person, I don’t give my time, money or attention to it (unless it’s China products; but that’s another topic). I suggest to these OWS protesters to “keep it real” and stop making the rich man that they hate richer; stop buying his products. Don’t by that iPhone, that Apple laptop, those Nike’s, that leather bomber jacket and that Ralph Lauren shirt. Stay out of Macy’s and Mall of America! Why give money to the bastards you despise? I challenge these protesters to put their actions where their mouth is, because it’s easy to just shout and walk the streets with signs. Show us unbelievers that you can stand up on your principles; otherwise accept the fact that you all are hypocrites.
Yes, the system needs some fixing, but not overthrown.

You had me at your first sentence! I’ve thought the very same. Parents who give everything but expect nothing, coupled with our failed public educational system have created a generation of dumb, foolish, lazy, and ungrateful kids.

As predicted the protesters have gotten violent. This time in Oakland, Ca.
These protesters want to destroy other peoples stuff, just as they did in the Watts Riots and the riots after the Rodney King incident.

You know, I half wish I could be as poor as most of these idiots are. I can’t afford a Mac, even if I wanted one. These people have absolutely NO clue about real poverty. To them, poor means having only 3 TVs.
Did you see the article about the thing in London, they’ve set up tents, but they aren’t sleeping in them at night, they’re going to hotels or back home to sleep, they just want it to look like they’re “roughing it” for the protest? I mean, they redefine hypocrisy!
It’s an insane world we’re living in, something has to give. Idiots shouldn’t have any say.
If some of them put 1/2 as much energy into a job search as they are into this stupid protest, they may surprise themselves with a paycheck. Then they won’t have time to occupy anything.
I think these idiots are great. The country will turn against them like they turned against their parents during the 1968 anti war riots in Chicago. These clowns will soon become a liability to Democrats.

According to Glen Beck the Protesters are now using children in their protests and to block traffic . Got to be a child labor law violation .
There was a woman on the news who was defending having her two kids at protest, the kids were small.
Additionally, the original group of OWS folks were paid to protest by, drum roll please….. Mr. George Soros himself.
Why is Soros even a factor in the U.S., he vocally states his opposition to America. I would love to see enemy combatants like Soros deported from the U.S.
Of course he hates America, why do you think he bank rolls people like Clinton and Obama? He’s trying to turn us into Socialists/Communists like Europe.
