Susan G. Komen for the Cure: A Life Paradoxical
I understood the logic behind the Susan G. Komen for the Cure pulling out of giving funds to Planned Parenthood. On one hand Komen fights for such a noble cause; fighting to save the lives of many women with breast cancer, and on the other hand they give money to an organization that fights to takes lives. With such huge advances in the care for the whole woman, Komen out of all organization know the traumatic impact on a woman who is dealt a hard blow. With Komen feeling the pain, seeing the depression, sadness and heartache of women and their families struggling through breast cancer, you would expect to see Komen understand the trauma, depression, pain and sadness that follows an abortion and not support such damaging practices.
For a brief moment common-sense saw its way through the clutter of the hypocrisy, but today we are back to the reality, we’ve grown accustom to.
But I will continue to run! Miss you granny!

The whole Komen that has been frustrating to watch. Had I donated to them after announcing they were disassociating from Planned Parenthood, I’d definitely want my money back today. I feel like they pulled a fast one on their supporters who happen to be pro-life.
That being said, I’m sorry about your grandma.
Thanks Lady “V”.
DarcsFalcon, said exactly what I was going to say! I wonder how many jumped the gun to show their support and now are fuming over the reversal! Condolences Mike to you and yours for your Grandma.
I’d be upset! This Komen reversal was not right and totally unfair to those who jumped in to give support. I’m sure there were more who applauded Komen withdrawing funds to PP, than there were those who were upset. It’s just that the Pro-Abortion crowd is the louder squekky wheel.
And thanks, Granny was our family’s centerpeice.
From what I’ve heard, abortion can actually increase the chance of breast cancer, anyway. Epic fail.
Quiet Possible. Women are pretty much lab rats to PP, the long term effects of abortion are still being laid out today. One thing for certain, post-traumatic stress is seen in many women after an abortion.
